Fidya is paid on behalf of a person who is unable to fast due to medical conditions/pregnancy or any other valid reasons such as a prolonged illness.
The current rate of Fidya is £7 per each fast that is missed this goes towards providing for one person with two meals. If someone misses all the fasts of Ramadan, it would amount to £210.
