Islam for Deaf has a Special Needs Program in Jamaica. Currently there is no islamic Programs/Support/Services for muslims with Special Educational Needs, SEND. The Deaf/blind community are unfortunately shunned from the rest of the communities and don’t have access to islamic or any other services unless programs like Islam for Deaf provides it.
With your Donations the Deaf Community in Jamaica will have access to Islamic education in Sign Language and an Islamic Centre and reference point for the growing Muslim community.
